


Rev. Tim Bobbitt
Rev. Tim Bobbitt joined the First Christian staff in January 2016. He enjoys getting out into nature, sports of all kinds, and spending time with his wife Jodi, sons Josh and Nathan, and dog Buckeye. He appreciates good coffee, good food, and good conversation.
Tim was ordained in 1996 at St Andrew Christian Church in Dublin, OH. He holds degrees from Bethany College in West Virginia and Lexington Theological Seminary in Kentucky. Tim and Jodi served 8 years with the Global Ministries of the Disciples Church working with congregations and training leaders in Buenos Aires and Chaco Argentina. Most recently Tim served as Senior Minister at First Christian Church in Greeley, Colorado.
Tim has a passion for serving the wider community. He brings a wide variety of skills and experiences to our congregation as well as a heart for mission and a passion for spreading the kingdom of God.

Nathan Bobbitt, Digital Communication and Office Manager

Nathan has spent his entire life in and around the church. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is the son of Rev. Tim Bobbitt. He graduated from William & Mary in 2024 with a degree in Economics. Outside of work Nathan enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and immersing himself in God’s creation while hiking.

Bevin Creel, Organist and Pianist
Bevin was born in south Louisiana, the youngest child of a dairy farmer and his piano teacher wife. His mother was (and still is) a church organist for a small town Baptist church, and was at church every time the doors were open. He became the church pianist when he was twelve or so and has been playing in churches ever since, with a recent hiatus of several years. Bevin is a Genealogist by profession and lives on Capitol Hill in the District. He is also an avid weightlifter; an amateur runner; and an avid follower of the LSU Tigers.

Ferra Diggs, Music Director

Ferra Diggs is an American vocal musician and educator whose dynamic voice and passion for music has taken her from the heart of Washington, DC to the bright lights of Los Angeles and beyond. Born and raised in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area, Ferra developed a deep love for Christian music at a young age, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural diversity of her hometown.
After honing her craft in the vibrant music scene of Los Angeles, where she attended college and trained in vocal and theater performance, Ferra quickly made a name for herself in the South Los Angeles community. Her career has seen her perform on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall in 2023, the iconic American Rotunda, and the exhilarating 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
In a full-circle moment, Ferra recently returned to her roots in the DMV area, where she now dedicates her time to teaching music and nurturing the next generation of musicians. She balances her creative work with a joyful family life, raising two children alongside her supportive fiancé. Their home is filled with love, and a shared commitment to faith and purpose.
Ferra’s unwavering dedication to her Christian faith, music education, and mentorship, combined with her extensive performance experience, makes her a powerful force in Christian, artistic and educational communities.
With a unique voice and a heart full of passion, Ferra continues to inspire, perform, and teach, pushing boundaries and sharing her love for God and music with all who encounter her work.
